Using 15 years of both academic and practical learning experiences Emma is proud to put together the Spirit™ Dog Trainer Series of Dog Trainer accredited courses.
These courses are open to all, and you do not need to be looking to buy an exclusive franchise training area with us to undertake training.
Some of the courses carry pre-requisites so please ensure you meet this and if you have any questions, please contact us directly to discuss.
In an unregulated world it is a minefield on which company to use for training to be a dog trainer. All the Spirit™ Dog Trainer courses are accredited with the Skills & Education Group, our Internal Quality Assurance Verifier is none other than Nicki Kelly the Principal of Southend Essex College.
Prior to accreditation Emma took the extra steps of sending the course content to no less than 5 industry professionals. This was not required during the accreditation process but it assured candidates of the best quality information. “Outstanding” was just one of the quotes given.
The courses are developed with a mixture of academic learning and practical hands-on and are delivered in person with support.
All learning styles have been considered, and course material can be provided in audible formats where required.
We are totally committed to allowing the courses to be totally accessible so if you have a particular learning requirement then please do let us know.
With a total of 9 weeks learning this course is delivered with both classroom days, case studies, practical training days and final assessments.
A portfolio of documentation and 5 case studies will be required to complete the entire accreditation process. No more than 10 candidates will sit the course at any one time. You will explore external and internal influences on dogs’ behaviour along with the 5 Essential Canine Life Skills required to produce a balanced dog, along with methodology and lots more.
On successful completion of the course, you will be able to call yourself a Spirit™ Dog Trainer (specialist in Holistic Dog Training) and use the full accreditation logo for marketing purposes, be able to run pet dog training classes and help dog owners in their homes with everyday problems. This course does not include deeper behaviour issues such as aggression and severe anxiety issues which should be dealt with by qualified accredited behaviourists.
This course is scheduled for delivery 4 times a year initially, however if you run an organisation and would like to offer training to your staff please let us know.
